  1. SCOPE

This Privacy Policy will be effective as of May 25, 2018 in compliance with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) for natural persons residing in all European Union (EU) and European Economic Area (EEA) member countries.

Clindata Insight cares about your data privacy.  For this reason, we collect and use personal data only as it may be needed for us to deliver to you our biometrics project and training services, talent and recruiting services, and/or processing of personal data for employment consideration (collectively, our “Services”). Your personal data includes, but are not limited to, information such as:

  1. Name
  2. Address
  3. Telephone number
  4. Date of birth
  5. Email address

Our Privacy Policy is intended to describe to you how and what data we collect, and how and why we use your personal data. It also describes options we provide for you to access, update or otherwise take control of your personal data.

What Information Do We Collect?

We collect and store information so that we can provide the best possible experience when you utilize our Services.  Much of what you likely consider personal data is collected directly from you when you:

(1)    Engage with us in our biometrics project or training services (ex: name, address, telephone number, email address);

(2)    Engage with us for talent or recruiting services (ex: name, address, telephone number, email address);

(3)    Apply for a job (ex: name, address, telephone number, email address); or

(4)   Complete contact forms, request newsletters, participate in contests and surveys, or otherwise participate in activities we promote that might require information about you (ex: name, address, telephone number, email address)

We also collect additional information when delivering our Services to you to ensure necessary and optimal performance.  These methods of collection may not be as obvious to you, so we would like to highlight and explain a bit more about what they might be.

Supplemented Data may be received about you from other sources, including publicly available databases or third parties, in which case we may combine this data with information we have about you so that we can update, expand and analyze the accuracy of our records to better enhance our Services to you.  If you provide us personal information about others, or if others give us your information, we will only use that information for the specific purpose for which it was intended.

How We Secure, Store and Retain Your Data

We follow appropriate technical and organizational measures to store and protect the personal data we collect, both during transmission and once received and stored, including utilization of encryption where appropriate.

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the Services you have requested and thereafter for a variety of legitimate legal or business purposes. These might include retention periods:

  • Mandated by law, contract or similar obligations applicable to our business operations
  • For preserving, resolving, defending or enforcing our legal/contractual rights
  • Needed to maintain adequate and accurate business and financial records

Third-Party Service Providers and Vendors

We may share your personal data with a limited number of third-party service providers and/or vendors for the purposes of conducting our normal business.  These may include:

  • Cloud-based applicant tracking tool and customer relationship management
  • Electronic newsletter distribution
  • Employee payroll processing and benefits enrollment (for employees only)

Data Breaches

In the event of a data breach and as soon as Clindata Insight is made aware of its occurrence, we will notify the supervisory authority or appropriate law-enforcement agency no later than 72 hours after having become aware of it, unless we deem the breach unlikely to result in a risk to the rights and freedoms of data subjects.

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time.  If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update our revision history to reflect the changes made and the respective date.
